First Real Haircut

It was time to get the golden locks chopped! As much as I had hoped this cute blond hair would turn into curls, it has not. So, once the hair started tickling his ears, it had to go. I cut the "mud" (brown patches) off of the back of his head this summer with Daddy's beard trimmer but decided to leave the first real cut to the professionals. As usual, our happy boy thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He squealed and laughed at the car he got to ride in and giggled when he touched the trimmer.

Aggie Football

Aggie Football has a new fan! Kade loved the excitement and energy of A&M. Even the cannon couldn't take the smile off of his face. We enjoyed getting to visit David Sturm as he led his outfit into Kyle Field. Boy how fast he has grown up!! Maybe Kade will follow in his and Daddy's footsteps.

Ready for Christmas?

If this doesn't make you ready for Christmas, I don't know what would. I fell prey to the outfit (with a little nudge by Aunt Monica). The holidays are going the be very special this year with our little man!! And yes, I do know that it is not even Thanksgiving yet :)

Visit with Grandma and Grandpa

On this beautiful November day, we had the pleasure of a visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Butterflies are migrating through Austin and provided great entertainment for a 6 month old.

I'm NOT sleepy!

Wurstfest

I think I have a German baby! Kade was very intrigued by the music, food, and attire. He got a taste of his first funnel cake while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a pork chop on a stick. Despite the rain, a good time was had by all.

Just a Swingin...

Kade has found a favorite outdoor activity. Well, it is our only outdoor activity. Monday, I visited our neighborhood park with a new friend and Kade LOVED it! All he could do was squeel, laugh, and smile. Today, we went back, and he enjoyed it just as much. I have a feeling we will be regulars very soon! I am looking forward to him walking/ running but am enjoying that he stays where I put him!! I know I will long for these days when they are gone.

Halloween

We had a great time at the Fall Festival at our church. Many families participated in Trunk or Treat. Mike, Zach, and Craig had roping for the lil' buckaroos. It was such a hit, they won first prize!! Kade got to play the supporting role of a horse. He did decide that hay wasn't his favorite. No tears but he finally found something he didn't want to put in his mouth!
