Bear Hunt

Well, 2009 marked the 10th year of elk camp in north west Colorado. A great week once again spent with family and friends. In addition to two elk taken by the group, Mike finally got his bear! If you need to know more than these "bare" details...best to get it from Mike. Weather was nice with temps in the 30's to the 50's. No snow but a little sleet and rain. We saw a lot of elk, some good bulls, the aspens turning, and of course the mountains. Thanks to Dad, Craig, Kyle, Matt and Zach for being a part of this year's adventure!

6 Months Old Today!

Wow! I cannot believe that our little man is already 6 months old. It's amazing how something so little, that requires so much attention, can be such a blessing. I can't wait to see how he grows up. His little personality is great. He either loves to sit back and observe his surroundings or get thrown in the air upside down. It makes me a little fearful of his teeange years, but thankfully we have a little while to prepare. To celebrate his half birthday, Kade got his first 2 teeth. He only fussed for a day before each and then returned to his normal happy ways. Many people told me that he must be ready for meat. Elk, bear, whatever is on hand!!

Pumpkin Patch

Today, we went to the pumpkin patch to get ready for fall. In the true form of south Texas in October, my car registered the temperature at 98 degrees. We are looking forward to a cold front!
Our MOPS group had a great time. I think we left our mark, I mean slobber, on the pumpkin patch. It is fun to have babies so close in age and we look forward to many future outings.

Welcome!

As much as I would like to pretend this will be about the three of us, we all know the truth. Kade will dominate the show, but his parents may be included every now and then. I hope you enjoy watching our family grow!
